วันพุธที่ 3 สิงหาคม 2565 โรงเรียนวาปีปทุมได้รับรางวัล ชนะเลิศ การแข่งขันตอบปัญหากฎหมายวันรพี ปีการศึกษา 2565 ณ ศาลเยาวชนและครอบครัวจังหวัดมหาสารคาม โดยมีนักเรียนผู้เข้าแข่งขันได้แก่
1. นายพีรพัฒน์ นิราราศน์ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6/1
2. นายธนกฤต มูลทรา นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4/1
